


ABOUT BOB COLVIN
Bob Colvin is a retired United States Air Force officer and a veteran of Operations Just Cause and Desert Storm. He is a graduate of The United States Air Force Air Command and Staff College, The United States Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and The Air War College.
He studied small unit infantry tactics with USAF Security Police in support of airbase ground defense, and was executive officer in charge of a Security Police detachment operating as OPFOR during the desert training preparations for Strategic Air Command bomber and tanker units prior to Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He is a legacy member of The 37th Division Veterans Association.

The 37th, “Buckeye” (Ohio), Division was the unit in which his maternal grandfather fought in World War One, and the operations of that division form the backdrop to the novel The Last Man To Die.
